Family Vacations

When I was young family vacations consisted of driving to Wisconsin Dells and going to some water park, which my brother and I loved because we didn't realize that the Dells are only a half an hour away. It seems quite impossible that something that fun can be so close to us. When we grew up and started to go there with our friends on the weekends it didn't seem like such a vacation to go to. Although it is a nice weekend getaway to get away from everything for a couple of days. My favorite places in the Dells to stay so far have been the Great Wolf Lodge, Kalahari, and the Chula Vista. These past few summers we have been traveling a little farther though because my mom says that it will be some of the last vacations we take together before we start our own families and have our own family vacations that we make memories during. Some of the funner vacations we've gone to have been Door County, Florida, and Green Bay. In Door County we visited Washington Island which is the farthest Island out there. Although this Island is very pretty to visit I would recommend bringing a lot of money if you choose to visit this place, because everything is very expensive. Also in Door County we took advantage of what they are known for their cherries and stopped at a local orchard and did some picking of our own. While in Florida we choose to visit some of the local shops and beaches. In Green Bay I visited Lambeau Field and watched the Packers at training camp. We also went to the Hall of Fame, which my brother and dad enjoyed the most because they watch the Packers religiously. Also every summer since I was 12 I've also enjoyed going to at least two Brewer games.
